Contact Me!

My name is Kari Elliott and this will be my 28th year teaching.  It seems like just yesterday that I was a brand new teacher and I think I still have that enthusiasm about what I do now, that I did back then.  I taught in Evergreen for 13 years. I taught music, P.E., a first and second grade combination classroom and then second grade. Then I taught 10 years at Peterson in 5th grade.  Finally,  I was given the opportunity to move to Rankin and open the new school at the 4th grade level and I jumped on it.  This is a FANTASTIC school. We have amazing teachers and staff, families, and students!! I feel so blessed to be part of this community.  

My family is awesome! I have two boys. Brady is a construction technology engineer in Seattle and Casey is a sophomore at Galveston College in Galveston TX.  He is studying radiation therapy.  I couldn’t be more proud of both of them. I lost my husband in May of 2012 in a car accident.  We continue moving forward and in 2020 I got married to Brad Elliott.  With this new union we now have 5 sons, one daughter in law and one grandson are very excited! I enjoy cabin time, boating, walking, travel, reading and in my free time.
